The Pretty Kitty an XXX Miniature

May I present, "The Pretty Kitty" a naughty little shadow box filled with a plethora of wangs, porn, xxx mags and more.

The Pretty Kitty, an XXX miniature

(Shout out to James for the term "pretty kitty" which I LOVE)

Clearly, I have the sense of humour of an adolescent boy...

... but there was a little more to making this than the sake of a few tittering laughs.

The Pretty Kitty, an XXX miniature

I've mentioned before about trying to get over my shit, my insecurities and inhibitions. It's hard! So many of us (myself included) carry all this shame and embarrassment about sex and sexuality. Things that as competent grown people, we are allowed to explore and enjoy.

The Pretty Kitty, an XXX miniature

I'm all for giggling over Princess Seka, and lube and double ended dildos! Sex IS totally fun and funny and ridiculous. It should not be some shameful dirty thing hiding in the dark and held over peoples heads. I wanted to make something fun and ridiculous and say "Look at this! I made something filthy and nothing horrible happened and by golly some people even liked it!"

ANYWAY, on to the details. All of those magazines, movie posters and VHS covers are real vintage xxx materials. Yes, there was an actual magazine called "Sluts & Slobs".  The magazines all open and have dirty material inside. The dildos, vibes are all made from polymer clay. And since I've had comments and questions about the peens, they are accurate representations of actual male members.

The vaginas are were made from these Miniature Corn Cobs. The butt plugs were trimmed from these 7/8 Inch Wood Finials and these 3/4 Inch Wood Finials. The chastity belt was created using this
Cast Metal Padlock and a couple of snippets of ribbon.

One of my favourite details are the little VHS tapes, for which I simply covered Old Fashioned Grocery Rectangular Tins with vintage porn covers.

The Pretty Kitty, an XXX miniature

It is a teeny tiny space, using the Small Frame Shadowbox from The interior measuring just 3-1/4" x 4-3/4" and 2" deep. It really didn't take too much to fill it up that space so I have a collection of dirty little things that never made their way into this piece. Guess there will be some more frisky mini's in the future.

If you're a dirty birdy like me, here are the supplies I used for this piece... you know, if you're itching to make your own filthy little something.

Naughty Clothes Pegs, Swears and Humiliation

When I started this blog I mentioned that I've been trying to get over my insecurities and inhibitions and exploring 'me'. Part of my adventure has included talking to people with all sorts of different kinks and fetishes.

The one thing that I've come across a number of times is humiliation or degradation.

I'm a totally sweary mother fucker. I LOVE swears! But I just cannot bring myself to belittle and demean someone. I'm a total pussy. I just can't do it. And I'm not down with being called names myself...

Ok, maybe there are few names I can deal with...

I'll have you know I did give it the old college try! This fellow was looking for someone to read a script he'd written that contained all sorts of degradation and filthy name calling. I volunteered. I did it. It ain't my thing.

But hey, I'm not the judgy sort! Whatever floats your boat, turns your crank and sets your sails. In fact, I've come up with a sheet of Naughty Names that you can download if that's your thing. Just pop down to the bottom of this post to download it.

They're sort of perfect for making naughty clothespegs for pinching your dirty little sub... or just because they're useful and sweary (just like me!)

Whatever your reason, whatever you dirty little heart desires, I hope you have plenty of fun with it. Enjoy!

Sparkly Foot Unicorns (or Getting Weird for a Good Cause)

Just look at these....

Sparkly mutha fucker footprint unicorns. Can you even stand the cuteness?

This is not my idea. It's a slightly grown-upper version of a kids craft. I figured I'm a big kid, plus this would be fun to do drunk AND my foot fetish buddies would get a kick out of it AND sparkly unicorns!

After I posted my first attempt at these, I was asked if I might donate one to a charity auction. I'm not sure how much my feets will fetch, but I'm absolutely down with trying to raise a few extra pennies for The Marvelle Koffler Breast Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital. Because fuck cancer.

Anyway, they were a ton of fun to do and here's how to make your own...

Gather all your stuff. You'll need water, a towel and wash cloth, paper or canvas, acrylic paint, a brush, a pallet/dish, glue and glitter. Pink toenails help... I don't know why... they just do.

Rather than dip your foot in a tray of paint, it is much easier to paint the bottom of your foot. Water the paint down, apply, then step diagonally onto a piece of paper.

Work quickly before the paint has time to dry. Also, remember to position your footprint so that there is room for the horn and mane.

This is really messy business, especially if you make this after a glass (or three) of something boozy. Consider your work area before you start, and remember that towel! You do not want to be hobbling through the house with a painty foot.

When your print has kinda sorta dried you can add the cascaded mane...

... and the horn too. I didn't get too picky here. I just sort of blocked those extra bits in.

It doesn't really matter which side of the foot the horn is added to, the pinky side or the big toe, but I think it looks especially cute when you use the big toe as an ear like below.

Once the mane and the horn are dry, add some black edges to give definition and detailing.

Then add glue and go nuts with the glitter.

For my charity unicorns I used canvas instead of paper. I also prepped the background with a wash of blue paint and added stars and hearts... because apparently unicorns and glitter just aren't enough.

That's it! Easy peasy. The auction will take place at a live event, but you can still donate to The Marvelle Koffler Breast Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital HERE.

Sparkle on weirdos!

Dirty Little Secrets Box

I was sent a sample Hidden Drawer Book Box - ATC Size from AlphaStamps and found it a smidge tight for my chunky ATC's so decided to put it to another use.

A little black box to of dirty secrets!

My wonderful crafty buddy (Hiya Lori!) sent me a box of gorgeous fabric samples recently. There were all sorts of beautiful silk squares included. I thought this black silk with golden tassel embroidery would be perfection for this.

Inside I've used paper I've been hoarding from Graphic 45's Bird Song. I think the combination is pretty lush and just right for storing tiny sexy tidbits.

Years ago there might have been some nude pictures or naughty post cards popped into that little drawer... but it's a different time so I'm using it to store my digital naughtiness!

Need your own wee secret box? Here's what I used:

Thin Fleur Dresden Borders - Black

P.S. If you ever want to blackmail me, this definitely isn't hiding in my underwear drawer.

Saucy Retro ATC's

April is Dapper Gents month at Alpha Stamps. I'll have some swell fellas over on Pixie Hill later in the month, but over here the ATC's are more depraved, less dapper.

Yeah, I said "meat pole" and it's hysterical.

The sentiments are from my new digital collage sheet of DIRTY WORDS

The retro images are a hoot and come from the Men in Hats ATCs Collage Sheet.

Groovy paper is from Authentique ~ Dapper 6x6 Paper Pad.

Cute AF embellished shoes

We went shopping a few weeks ago and saw sooo many beautiful shoes. I fell in love with a ton of Betsey Johnson shoes that were utterly adorable but my wallet scoffed at me. I thought 'balls to that! I'll make my own."

I picked up this pair of scuffed heels for a few bucks and polished them up.

Already an improvement but I wanted to turn them into something girly and impractical.

I can't jump in puddles with these... but how stinking cute are they?!?! I showed them to a few foot fetish boys and they agreed that they are mightily adorable.

I used THESE anenome flowers from Petaloo in light pink. The leaves I pulled off of some dollar store silk flowers and then just added a tiny pink bow. I stuck everything on with just a bit of hot glue.

They might not be  Betsey Johnson's but I LOVE them and think they are totally adorable. They hardly took any time or money at all so if/when they do fall to bits I'm not worried and I can change them up again.

Next time, more glitter.

The whys and what-fors

ANOTHER blog Nichola? Geesh!

I know, I know... but there's a good reason for this particular blog. This is crafting for pervy old gals, for my sexy buddies with glue guns, projects for my hawt sparkly girlfriends.

There's a fair number of kiddies that like Pixie Hill, and I've got a few followers who are faint of heart, so I wanted to create a dedicated spot for posting projects of a more frisky/adult nature. Don't worry, I'm not planning on sharing x-rated home movies, just a feel good dose of naughtiness... that also happens to be damned cute.

To be honest, over the past year or so I've been working to get over my insecurities and inhibitions, trying to figure myself out, trying to stir up some positive feminine strength. It's been so much fun, and so overwhelmingly good for me. I hope to encourage that sort of positivity for someone else, or celebrate it with other amazing dirty craft ladies.

Someone left this comment yesterday (talking about our shared affinity for the character Flo, from Alice) which I think kinda sums up what I'm nattering on about...

"I've found another person who can totally appreciate with full gusto the moxy that is Flo - in FLOW with being whoever the fuck she wishes to be. That show was amazing, and in all honesty, there were some truly poignant scenes where Flo and her humanity and utter vulnerability were depicted so beautifully. I'd say she is a damned good role model for women who continue to express themselves as they see fit - and balls to anyone who tries to insult or shut her down for shining in all her animal spotted glory"

AMEN! To all of that.

THAT is what hope to spread here. Not just sexay crafts but Gusto! Moxy! Humanity! Vulnerability! Animal prints!

So, prepare thyself for sexy crafting, my friends! Because believe you me, it's a-comin'.

P.S. If you'd like to contribute a project to this nutty blog, I'm totally open to contributors. Just shoot me a note with your ideas and we'll work something out.

P.P.S. I fucking love you.
