Artsty Fartsy ~ATC'S

What are ATC's? Artist Trading Cards are little works of art measuring 3.5" x 2.5". The thing that is so special about them is that they are not bought or sold... they are traded! There are cards called ACEO's (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) which are sold, but I think that the trading part is what makes ATC's so lovely.

How do I make one of these things? You can make them however you like! Fabric, metal, wood, paper... so long as it measures 3.5" x 2.5". I use a very stiff/thick paper as my base and build upon it to create a collage. ATC's do not have to be collages though, they can be hand drawn, digital... anything at all. When you are done you may want to include information on the back such as your name, the date and the title of your mini work of art. Good luck!

Here are some of my ATC'S that explore the idea of the witch. While some people think that the term witch is negative, we embrace it and all of the iconography that goes with it. Here is my coven... pointy hats and all.
