Making magic doesn't have to involve an expensive trip to the occult store, heath shop, or new age boutique.

Sure exotic herbs, spices and supplies are nice but nothing beats using materials that you have grown, harvested or made yourself.

I'm working on a list of common herbs that grow right outside my door and how they can be used magically.

Chicory
Dandelion
Goldenrod
Soapwort
Queen Anne's Lace
Yarrow

Check back as I'll add to this list over time.

You will notice that I have not included medicinal uses for these plants. I am not a herbalist and I do not recommend using any herb without researching and understanding the potential dangers.

Unless you are 100% certain of a plant's identity, do not harvest! Many harmless plants can be confused with others that are outrageously dangerous.

Play it safe kiddies... no one wants to see you hurt!
